Successful Inauguration of Our New Programme: Diploma in Multimedia and Animation

Today, the Department of Information Technology celebrated the successful inauguration of our new programme, "Diploma in Multimedia and Animation." We were honored to have the presence of our esteemed guests, including the Deans, Heads, Programme Leaders, and staff. The event began at 10:00 AM with new students reporting to the IT Building, followed by the reception of guests at 10:10 AM. At 10:15 AM, we welcomed the Lama and President. The inauguration of OCR3 and OCR4 classrooms by the Lama took place at 10:20 AM, featuring the offering of a butter lamp by the Lama, President, and Dean of Academic Affairs, and a cake-cutting session. At 10:35 AM, the Head of DIT delivered a warm welcome speech, followed by a speech from the President at 10:40 AM. The Definitive Programme Document (DPD) was inaugurated by the President and Lama at 10:45 AM. This was followed by refreshments and a dance performance by students at 10:50 AM. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Programme Leader at 10:55 AM, followed by a photo session to commemorate the ceremony. We are happy to embark on this journey with our new students, who we are confident will excel and become productive members of the multimedia and animation industry. The skills and knowledge they acquire through this programme will prepare them to meet the demands of the dynamic and evolving digital world.
