Launch of the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity

The Department of Information Technology-JNEC, Jigme Namgyel Engineering College, is pleased to share the launch of the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, a joint degree programme offered by Jigme Namgyel Engineering College and Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology under the Royal University of Bhutan. This new programme will commence in July 2026 and marks an important step as the first joint degree of its kind in the Royal University of Bhutan. With two years at JNEC and two years at GCIT, students will benefit from the strengths of both campuses through one integrated programme. This model provides broader academic exposure, practical learning, and stronger preparation for careers in cybersecurity.
