Introduction of the Online No-Due System

The Department of Information Technology-JNEC, Jigme Namgyel Engineering College is proud to share the successful development, testing, and user training of the Online No-Due System, funded through the Royal University of Bhutan RUB Innovation Fund. This system marks a major milestone in our efforts to digitalize administrative processes and enhance efficiency in student clearance procedures. With positive feedback from testing and training sessions held on Zorig Day (12th May 2025), we have now entered the final trial phase, during which users will actively use the system for one week before its official launch. What's Next? • Final deployment with real-time data after the trial week • Maintenance & support as part of the sustainability plan • Incorporating change requests and user feedback for continuous improvement • Exploring the expansion of the system to other RUB colleges, depending on feasibility and impact A heartfelt thank you to the RUB Innovation Committee, our management, all faculty and staff involved, and the students from the Diploma in Computer System and Network program who participated in testing. Special appreciation goes to our project team and in-house developers (Younten Tshering and Lucas Dev) for their hard work and dedication to making this system a reality. We look forward to the official launch and continued improvements in the way we manage institutional processes.
