Industrial Tour

31 March – 5 April 2025 24 students | 2 staff members We are pleased to share that our Diploma in Computer System and Network students have successfully completed their industrial tour as part of their academic curriculum. The tour aimed to enhance their practical understanding of the ICT industry and expose them to current technologies, infrastructure, and workplace environments. Our students visited the following organizations during the tour: • GovTech Agency – Insight into national ICT infrastructure and e-governance initiatives • Bhutan Telecom – Exposure to network operation centers and fiber optic technologies • TashiCell – Overview of mobile networks and digital services • Thimphu TechPark – Familiarization with startup ecosystems and incubation centers • SELISE Bhutan – Understanding of software development workflows and international collaboration • Paro Airport – Observed ICT infrastructure in airport operations We extend our sincere thanks to: • Government Technology (GovTech) Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan • Bhutan Telecom Ltd. • TashiCell • Thimphu Techpark • SELISE Bhutan • Department of Air Transport, Paro International Airport Your support and hospitality made this tour a valuable learning experience for our students.
