We are pleased to share that our recent initiative to enhance digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness in eastern Bhutan has been featured by Kuensel, Bhutan’s national newspaper. The article titled “Jigme Namgyel Engineering College takes digital literacy to the grassroots” highlighted the college’s 35-day outreach campaign aimed at empowering communities in rural and semi-urban areas with essential digital skills and safe online practices. Through this program, our team reached thousands of participants—including students, farmers, monks, and local residents—helping them gain confidence in using digital tools responsibly and securely. The feature in Kuensel recognizes Jigme Namgyel Engineering College’s continued commitment to building digitally inclusive and cyber-aware communities, contributing to Bhutan’s national goal of bridging the digital divide and promoting responsible technology use across the country.
