Digital Literacy & Cybersecurity Awareness at Sherubtse College! The APNIC Foundation–funded project “Enhancing Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity Awareness in Eastern Bhutan” continues its inspiring journey across the eastern region. Led by the Department of Information Technology-JNEC, Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (Royal University of Bhutan), in collaboration with Government Technology (GovTech) Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan. Sherubtse College Extension Sherubtse Media Society - SMS Although Sherubtse College was not part of the original project plan, strong feedback and enthusiasm from previous sessions inspired the team to extend the initiative. Over 200 students and staff were engaged through interactive sessions on: • Online safety and cybersecurity awareness • Responsible use of AI tools Few Gewogs and Monasteries remain, which will be covered soon after scheduling with the concerned focal persons. Meanwhile, the team continues to expand outreach and impact across eastern Bhutan. Together, we are building a safer, smarter, and more cyber-aware Bhutan
