Digital Literacy & Cybersecurity Awareness in Mongar! The journey under the APNIC Foundation–funded project “Enhancing Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity Awareness in Eastern Bhutan,” led by the Department of Information Technology-JNEC, Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (Royal University of Bhutan), in collaboration with Government Technology (GovTech) Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan, continues to make a meaningful impact across the east. Highlights from Mongar Dzongkhag: 1. Mongar HSS: 420+ students and staff empowered with online safety knowledge and hands-on digital literacy. 2. Ngatshang Gewog: 200+ farmers, elders, and youth engaged in discussions on safe digital practices and cyber hygiene. 3. Mongar Dratshang: 80+ monks learned about scam awareness, phishing, and responsible digital behavior. Media Coverage: The event at Ngatshang Gewog was covered by BBS.
