Digital Literacy & Cybersecurity Awareness in Lhuntse The journey of empowering communities in Eastern Bhutan under the APNIC Foundation–funded project “Enhancing Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity Awareness in Eastern Bhutan” has now reached Lhuntse Dzongkhag, successfully completing 5 out of 6 target Dzongkhags. Only Mongar remains before we achieve full coverage across the eastern region! Highlights from Lhuntse Dzongkhag: Lhuntse HSS – 400+ students and staff gained vital knowledge on safe online practices. Gangzur Gewog – 120+ farmers, youth, and elders learned practical digital safety skills. Ugyen Dongag Woesel Choeling Institute – 80+ monks engaged in discussions on scam calls, digital hygiene, and cyber protection. The sessions sparked meaningful conversations, addressing real challenges like scam calls and online fraud, while inspiring participants to adopt safe and responsible digital practices.
