Digital Literacy & Cybersecurity Awareness – Pemagatshel Completed! As part of the APNIC Foundation–funded project “Enhancing Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity Awareness in Eastern Bhutan”, supported by ISIF Asia 2024, our project team successfully completed sessions in Pemagatshel Dzongkhag. Nangkor Central School Over 400 students and staff actively joined our Awareness Campaign & Workshop, gaining practical skills in: • Building essential digital literacy competencies • Strengthening cybersecurity practices against phishing, scams, and unsafe online behavior Thongphu Goenpa We also reached out to the monastic community, where 40+ monks participated in an enlightening session on: • Basic digital literacy • Cybersecurity awareness for safe digital engagement Both sessions highlighted the enthusiasm of learners, like students, teachers, or monks, in becoming responsible digital citizens. The open dialogue between tradition and technology made this milestone truly inspiring. Thank You!
