The Cybersecurity Awareness Video Showcase & Judging Session was successfully conducted as part of the APNIC Foundation -funded project "Enhancing Digital Literacy and Security Awareness in Eastern Bhutan."
The event created a significant impact, promoting digital safety among students. Competition Winners 1st Position – 2nd Year Diploma in Computer System and Network 2nd Position – 1st Year Diploma in Multimedia and Animation 3rd Position – 1st Year Diploma in Multimedia and Animation 4th Position – 3rd Year Bachelor of Engineering in Power Engineering 5th Position – 1st Year Diploma in Surveying 6th Position – 2nd Year Diploma in Computer System and Network 7th Position – 2nd Year Diploma in Surveying 8th Position – 2nd Year Diploma in Materials and Procurement Management Survey Insights from Responses • Participation Breakdown: o 54.8% Audience o 40.5% Contestants o 4.8% Judges • Overall Quality Rating: o 78.5% rated 4 or 5 stars • Cyber Threat Awareness: o 95.2% said the videos improved their understanding • Impact on Online Safety Behavior: o 100% of respondents said the competition changed their attitude • Message Clarity: o 100% found the videos clear and easy to understand • Key Suggestions from Participants: o Expand public awareness efforts, especially in rural areas. o Increase video duration beyond 5 minutes for better impact. o Make videos widely available on public platforms. o Consider cybersecurity awareness campaigns beyond digital media.
