The training, based on the JAD-developed curriculum, aims to assess participant engagement and effectiveness before expanding to other areas in the region.
The Department of Information Technology is conducting its first training session on “Digital Literacy and Cyber Security Awareness” for students. The training will be based on the curriculum that was developed during the JAD session. The training session is particularly important as it serves as a pilot program for delivering such initiatives in the eastern region of Bhutan. It aims to assess how well the targeted audience can grasp and apply the knowledge shared during the session. The feedback and responses collected from attendees will be instrumental in assessing the overall impact and effectiveness of the training materials and instructional approach. If the session proves to be successful, plans will be made to expand the training to other areas within the eastern region of Bhutan. The training is scheduled to take place on January 24, 2025.
