Enhancing Digital Literacy and Security Awareness in Eastern Bhutan
Project Update
Department of Information Technology-JNEC, Jigme Namgyel Engineering College are happy to share that the Joint Application Development (JAD) session for curriculum development under the APNIC Foundation funded project was successfully conducted at GCIT, Thimphu, from 6th to 10th January 2025. A heartfelt thank you to the experts from Government Technology (GovTech) Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan, Bhutan CIRT and Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology - GCIT for their invaluable contributions and active participation throughout the sessions. Your insights and expertise were instrumental in shaping the training guidelines and curriculum to meet the project’s objectives. The discussions focused on developing a comprehensive curriculum and educational materials that address the diverse needs of our communities, ensuring alignment with the goals of enhancing digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness.
